The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites adults age 55 and over to use their life experience and skills to answer the call of their neighbors in need. 

RSVP matches interested seniors with over 50 not-for-profit, faith based and service oriented agencies throughout Porter County.  They are matched by the agencies needs and the volunteer's unique skills, life experiences, likes and desires to acquire new experiences.

Our Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) also administers the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for Porter County.  RSVP provides the senior volunteers for this program.  These well trained counselors are certified by the Indiana State Department of Insurance to provide free counseling to seniors on their Medicare supplement choices.
