Senior Volunteers

PCACS serves as the Congregate Meals Site Manager for Banta, Bonner, and Hebron senior centers.

PCACS has a demand-response transportation service for citizens of Porter County.  These services are open to the public and door-to-door based.

PCACS aids in winter heating expenses and summer cooling expenses through Winter Warmth, Gift of Warmth, FEMA, and weatherization.

The Section 8 Housing program is designed to help low-income families obtain adequate housing.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) invites adults 55 years and over to use their life experience and skills to answer the call of neighbors in need.

Through SHIP (the State Health Insurance Assistance Program) well trained counselors provide FREE counseling to seniors on their Medicare Supplement choices.
