WELCOME CALLERS AND VISITORS TO OUR AGENCY

Become a volunteer receptionist once a week for 4 hours.

We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to answer phones and greet our visitors.

We will educate you about our programs and train you on how to answer our phones and greet visitors.

This important volunteer position will give you professional experience and the opportunity to help us better serve the poor, disabled and elderly citizens of Porter County.

The requirements are:

High School Diploma or GED

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent Customer Service skills

Demonstrated friendliness and professionalism

Ability to multitask and work in a high traffic area

Availability to work 4 hours each week some time between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

Willingness to go through a period of training
