Porter County Aging & Community Services, Inc. (PCACS) serves the needs of the aging and aged, disabled and/or low-income residents of Porter County, through investigation of problems, research and planning, public education, fundraising, cooperation and coordination with the Indiana Department of Family and Community Services, the Area 1 Agency on Aging, and with all appropriate agencies and organizations within Porter County.

  • Wednesday, May 14 at 11:30 a.m.  We are hosting a Community Workshop on Heart Health by Patricia Ann Neely, a Cardiac Rehab nurse for Porter Hospital at the Friendship Center (located in our bldg).  If you are interested in coming please CALL Melissa Benefiel at 219-263-8300.  Click here to view event flyer.

  •  PCACS continues to help local citizens in need repair and/or build ramps for their homes through a Community Impact grant from the United Way of Porter County and local donations.  Valparaiso Care & Rehab recently donated $1,500 to sponsor a ramp to be built this spring.  Visit our PHOTO GALLERY to see photos and read stories about local ramp recipients.
